Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. We hope you find it of some interest.\u00a0Trout & Wine<\/strong>\u00a0is an energetic team of people with years of experience in providing wine tours and fly fishing excursions to visitors in Argentina, particularly in Mendoza. We are small and we want to keep it that way. We don’t believe in conveyor belt tourism nor do we refer to our customers as “pax”as if they were mere objects to be moved around. We like to keep our tours personal and adapt our services to our clients needs. We never refer to our tours as “products” as if they were made in a factory. Every tour is unique and we aim to provide the best possible experience with lots of good wine and laughter thrown in. Our team is made up of Argentines and foreigners so we get the best of both worlds – insider knowledge with International standards.<\/p><\/div>

It’s all in the Wine<\/b><\/h4>

You cannot put architecture in a glass. Mendoza has some incredible looking wineries and we do our best to take you to them. However the most important to us on a wine tour is what you taste. We try our best to ensure that the focus is on the tasting and no matter how fabulous a building looks, if it provides mediocre wine, we avoid it. We also try to curb a winery guide’s enthusiasm to show you yet more wine tanks and barrels than necessary. Don’t worry, any novices will be fully versed in the wine making process, but as our wine tour of Mendoza progresses during the day we like to let the wine (and food) take pride of place, with lots of great conversation and scenery added as extra.<\/p>

\r\n I found Trout and Wine by doing extensive research on different winery tour options; to give a peek into my planning sensibilities, I had a spreadsheet with tours, costs, locations, and cross-referenced the wineries with as many "best of Mendoza" lists I could find. Trout and Wine looked like it took us to the best wineries for the most reasonable cost, so my friend and I booked it for our Mendoza trip. That turned out to be the best decision, as everything exceeded my expectations: email communication, pickup at the hotel, knowledge and friendliness of the tour lead (Clarita was fantastic), and the quality of the wineries we visited in the Uco Valley. Our lunch at Andeluna was also one of the highlights of our entire vacation. We were joined by a newlywed couple who had booked several Trout and Wine tours, and raved about them - I only wish I'd stayed in Mendoza longer to book more tours! I couldn't recommend them more highly, from beginning to end. <\/div>\r\n\r\n

\r\n An exceptional wine tour experience\u2014well organized from start to finish. Communication during the booking process was clear. A small group setting created an almost private atmosphere. Our guides, Diego and Ricardo, were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Each bodega we visited offered something unique, showcasing a high quality wines and styles. Desde el mensaje 1 por wsp para organizar todo por parte de Noelia hasta cuando nos acercamos a realizar el pago.\nEmpezamos con el tour de alta monta\u00f1a\/Andes y luego un recorrido por bodegas en Luj\u00e1n de Cuyo, y en ambos casos todo estuvo perfectamente organizado. La van era s\u00faper c\u00f3moda, ideal para disfrutar los trayectos sin apuro, y tanto Pablo como Tessa, nuestros coordinadores, fueron muy amables y atentos.\nPablo tuvo que hacer el tour biling\u00fce y manej\u00f3 perfecto el timing. \r\n Best tour agency Mendoza! They are friendly, the main office is open\/easily accessible from Independence Plaza, they communicated the evening prior & were prompt for pick ups. \r\n If you ever go to Mendoza do not hesitate to go with Trout and Wine tours. Even weeks before our trip Rocio was most helpful arranging our payment and deposit. My party of 6 enjoyed three tours, two (Lujan and Uco) wine and tasting tours (excellent lunch included) which were amazing and the Andes tour with breathtaking views. All the guides, especially Flor and Victor were very knowledgeable of the area, drivers were also good. Thank you all for making our Mendoza trip a most memorable one. <\/div>\r\n\r\n

\r\n I did two tours with Trout and Wine, detailed below. Both were great experience. Lujan de Cuyo wine tour, we had Ivan as our guide. His knowledge in wine and the wine history of Mendoza was impressive and added a lot of fun and colors to the tour. The wineries we visited were different styles, after four visits I didn\u2019t feel repetitive or bored at all. Learned a lot more about wine.\n\nAconcagua mountain tour with Ricardo. The scenery drive was amazing itself, Ricardo also told us a lot about the geo formation of the Andes and why the colors of the mountain were red, yellow, green, blue and black\u2026 lunch was at a small town, very Argentinian.\n\nOverall I feel the guides I was with, Ivan and Ricardo are truly passionate about letting people know more about their beautiful country, and they 100% did a great job. <\/div>\r\n\r\n

The whole day was so seamless thanks to Trout and Wine Tours (including an airport pickup!) and Gabriela was an incredible guide. Trout and Wine put together an itinerary for us which was fantastic, including amazing wine lunches, winery visits, a cooking class and lastly, as a little break from wine, visits to the studios of 3 local artists. \r\n Excellent experience! We went to\nFinca Bandine and the mountain! Our guide Valeria made all the difference on our tour. She speaks Portuguese very well, super friendly and welcoming, an exceptional communicator. Passionate about what she does, she knows very well the history of the entire Region, detailed in every experience. We were very happy with the choice of the guide and the Van Diego driver who is obviously very careful, attentive to the passengers. We felt very well accompanied by them! \r\n We did two tours with Trout & Wine. One to Uco valley and the other to Luj\u00e1n de Cuyo. Both were great, we really enjoyed the Spanish tour we did alone with the Guide. At first we had our doubts about thinking that there would be more pressure to understand something about it, but we had a great time. The Guide (I don't remember the name now) gave us a lot of information, answered all our questions but also gave us our space to enjoy the experience.\nThe wineries we visited and the attention in each was very good, but mainly we highlighted Blanco. I think it was the first time we visited on the tour to Lujan de Cuyo. By far the best tasting was there.\nWe are sorry that we did not have another day to do the tour to Potrerillos, so we have to wait for the next \ud83d\ude42 <\/div>\r\n\r\n
