Your pickup will be at 10:00am from your hotel for a trip to Maipú, the birthplace of Mendoza’s wine boom in the late 19th century. Just 40 minutes southeast of Mendoza City, Maipu is known for its scenic olive groves, ancient vineyards, and historic wineries.
First we head to El Enemigo - Casa Vigil the wine project created by the renowned winemaker Alejandro Vigil, known for his role at the prestigious Catena Zapata winery in Mendoza. Located in the heart of the region, the winery combines tradition and innovation, specializing in varieties such as Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay, which reflect its unique terroir.
For lunch, we will visit Mil Suelos, known for its fire-cooked cuisine that highlights seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted to pair perfectly with the winery’s wines, creating a culinary experience that captures the authentic flavors of Mendoza through the artistry of open-fire cooking.
Our final stop is the lively Chachingo Brewery, also founded by Alejandro Vigil. Known for its eclectic range of IPAs, stouts, and lagers, this top craft brewery perfectly blends creativity and quality. With its vibrant atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to end our day!
We’ll be heading back to Mendoza at 6:00pm.
