Matervini Winery, located in Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, was founded in 2008 by renowned winemakers Santiago Achával and Roberto Cipresso. The project is a deep dive into the many faces of Malbec, exploring its expression across diverse terroirs—from traditional alluvial soils to ancient rocky sites in the Pre-Cordillera. Known as the first fully solar-powered winery in Argentina, Matervini combines sustainability with striking modern architecture, where natural light, art, and thoughtful design set the tone for a unique experience.

The visit includes guided tours through the vineyard, fermentation spaces, and underground barrel rooms, followed by a tasting of six single-vineyard Malbecs—each one showcasing a different micro-terroir. Tastings are held on a scenic terrace with sweeping Andes views, offering an intimate and educational experience for wine lovers.
