Uco Valley has both altitude and attitude and is certainly one of the most interesting and stunning areas to do a wine tour in Mendoza. Situated in the foothills of the Andes, this new frontier in Argentine winemaking is attracting winemakers from all over the world. State-of-the-art technology and gold medal terroir means the wine from this area is the future of Argentine wine.

Your guide picks you up around 8.30am at your hotel and drives 90 minutes to Piedra Negra, one of the pioneers in the Uco area. This sizeable winery produces high altitude Chardonnay, Merlot and Malbec and we try the top wine Piedra Negra and Lurton

We continue into the valley and arrive at Bianchi Valle de Uco, they are a winery with Family Heritage that is projected with its values ​​of tradition, quality, prestige, innovation, and contemporaneity in Argentine viticulture.

Lunch is at Claroscuro, located close to the town of Vista Flores. Here we sit down to enjoy a multiple course lunch, each course paired to a particular wine. Here we have a 5-course lunch the winery’s restaurant with panoramic views of the vineyards and mountains.

Return to Mendoza at 6 pm.
