Learn about the legend of Chachingo on a private wine tour.

We will pick you up at 10:00 am at your hotel for an excursion to Maipú, the birthplace of Mendoza’s wine boom in the late 19th century. Just 40 minutes southeast of the city of Mendoza, Maipú is known for its picturesque olive groves, old vineyards and historic wineries.

First we head to El Enemigo – Casa Vigil, the winemaking project created by renowned winemaker Alejandro Vigil, known for his role at Mendoza’s prestigious Catena Zapata winery. Located in the heart of the region, the winery combines tradition and innovation, specializing in varieties such as Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay, reflecting its unique terroir.

For lunch, we will visit Mil Suelos, known for its fire-fired cuisine that highlights seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Each dish is carefully crafted to pair perfectly with the winery’s wines, creating a culinary experience that captures the authentic flavors of Mendoza through the art of fire cooking.

Our final stop is the lively Cervecería Chachingo, also founded by Alejandro Vigil. Known for its eclectic range of IPAs, stouts and lagers, this premium craft brewery seamlessly blends creativity and quality. With its vibrant atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to end the day!

We will return to Mendoza at 18:00.
