We will pick you up between 9:00 / 9:30 a.m. at your hotel or home to go to the Uco Valley region, which is characterized by being a young region with great potential. The natural conditions of this area differ from those of Luján: the altitude provides a good thermal amplitude that translates into structure, intensity, alcohol and good acidity. Young local and foreign wineries coexist here.

Our guide will accompany you through two premium wineries, modern, high-tech and whose architecture has been awarded and distinguished on several occasions, both locally and internationally.
Our first visit is to the Dutch-owned Salentein Winery, Salentein is the largest winery we visit in the Uco Valley, and one of the first to be established in this region. It specializes in the production of premium wines (reserves and icon wines), mainly Malbec, Merlot and Pinot Noir.

Walking through the vineyards in a landscape surrounded by mountains very close to us, we arrived at the winery. During the visit we highlight the architecture of the winery; they call it “The Temple of Wine” functionally thought the winery works using the gravity of the building itself, starting the winemaking process at the top of the winery and finishing its elaboration (barrels and fractionators) in the basement of the winery, thus avoiding stress and oxygenation in the process.

At noon we will visit Piedra Infinita, a recent addition to the renowned Zuccardi family. Located in Paraje Altamira, Uco Valley, facing the majestic Andes Mountains. In this unique environment of mountains and vineyards offered by the winery, we will enjoy a 4-course menu prepared with regional products with a delicate gourmet expression paired with Zuccardi wines.
