Uco Valley has both altitude and attitude and is certainly one of the most interesting and stunning areas to do a wine tour in Mendoza. Situated in the foothills of the Andes, this new frontier in Argentine winemaking is attracting winemakers from all over the world. State-of-the-art technology and gold medal terroir means the wine from this area is the future of Argentine wine.

Your guide picks you up around 8.40am at your hotel and drives 80 minutes to Escala Humana Wines, located in Gualtallary, Valle de Uco, is a boutique winery founded by Germán Masera and Ayelén Bonetto. They practice precision viticulture to craft wines that express the extreme mountain terroir, with architecture designed to harmonize with nature and the surrounding ecosystem.

We continue into the valley and arrive at Finca Sophenia, is a renowned winery founded by Roberto Luka. It is known for producing elegant, high-altitude wines that reflect the purity and freshness of the Andes. The winery features a modern architectural design that integrates seamlessly with the surrounding vineyards and mountain landscape.

Lunch is at Andeluna, located near Tupungato, Andeluna offers a cozy, rustic restaurant with sweeping vineyard and mountain views. Enjoy a 4-course gourmet lunch paired with 4 premium wines, including their iconic Pasionado label. Great food, top wines, and an unbeatable atmosphere.

Return to Mendoza at 6 pm.
