Take a luxury tour through the home of Malbec which is Luján de Cuyo wine region

We pick you up in the morning at 8.50 AM at your hotel and head for the vineyards of Luján de Cuyo, in the heart of Mendoza wine country. Our English-speaking guide will escort you around three premium wineries, old and modern, high tech and quaint, with a spectacular backdrop of snow-capped mountains.

First we take you to Matervini, Santiago Achaval’s new project which explores the diverse terroir of the Andean foothills, making a variety of wines with unique personality

Next we have a visit and tasting at Terrazas de Los Andes, an old-style winery completely renovated and
refurbished by Chandon. Here the focus is very much on making big, concentrated single vineyard Malbecs.

For lunch we go to Susana Balbo Wines a modern winery owned by Susana Balbo, the most famous female winemaker and consultant in Argentina also a pioneer in exporting Malbec to USA and Brazil. Lunch consists of four steps of regional cuisine, paired with four of their Premium wines.

Return to Mendoza at 5.30 pm.
