Private Malbec & Mountain Wine Tour in Uco Valley with Scenic Andes Views

Experience the perfect blend of majestic mountain landscapes and world-class Malbec on our Malbec & Mountain Tour, a full-day private wine adventure through Mendoza’s stunning Uco Valley and the Cordon del Plata range.

We begin with hotel pickup at 8:30 AM, heading west into the Andes. The route takes us through the picturesque thermal town of Cacheuta, past the Potrerillos Dam and its turquoise lake, and then off the beaten path into Carril La Carrera—a lush, hidden valley surrounded by breathtaking views of the Cordon del Plata. This scenic drive offers a dramatic contrast to Mendoza’s arid terrain and sets the tone for a unique day in nature and wine country.

By midday, we arrive at Bodega Michelini i Mufatto, small, family-run winery with simple, functional architecture and a focus on minimal-intervention, high-altitude wines. Owned by Gerardo Michelini, Andrea Mufatto and their son Manuel.

Next, we head to Bodega Domaine Bousquet, large, organic winery owned by a French-Argentine family, with modern architecture and views of the Andes. Focused on high-altitude wines from Gualtallary. Here, we enjoy a 5-course lunch paired with their top labels.

We return to Mendoza around 6:00 PM.
